NAS OS version 4.0.x

How to download and install latest build

1. Download the most recent .ISO
2. Use CD burning software to create the bootable CD from the .ISO file
3. Setup a test PC or your NAS server with an IDE flash drive (or hard drive) on the primary-master IDE, and a CD Rom drive on the second IDE channel. (Compact Flash users will need a CF to IDE converter to install the OS to CF) **This beta should also support SATA and SCSI drives for the OS. You must dedicate a drive to the OS.
**To prevent accidental data loss - Disconnect any other drives on the system!**
4. Boot from the CD and carefully follow the on-screen instructions. If you do not have a DHCP server you will want to assign the initial IP address during the install. (The IP address will be displayed again after every reboot). When you are finished with the menu choices the installer will write the NAS OS to your drive.
5. Use this drive to boot your NAS device.
6. Once the NAS is running on your network, go to a workstation and enter the https:// and the IP address of the NAS in the address bar of your web browser. Example: https://192.168.1.10
7. You will be prompted to login to the graphical interface. The username is 'admin' and the password is 'password'
