What hardware is supported by the Darma NAS
OS?
The current version of the Darma NAS OS as of April 2003 only supports the
platforms produced by our OEM customers. A future product will be packaged
with an installer to allow system builders more flexibility. Darma is committed
to supporting all common network adapters and SCSI controllers and is continually
adding support for new devices and third party agents. We also provide fee-based
development for additional hardware support and added product functionality.

When will you offer iSCSI?
We are currently evaluating several iSCSI implementations from the open
source community and third party vendors. We plan to offer a software based
iSCSI target mode solution that will not require additional hardware.
When we release our target mode iSCSI package will be able to export block
level storage with our integrated volume manager. All standards compliant
iSCSI initiators will be able to connect to our target device. This will
be an add-on product with pricing to be determined.
