Darma NAS OS Small Business Edition version 3.0.x

How to download and install latest build

1. Download the most recent .ISO from www.nas.darma.com
2. Use CD burning software to create the bootable CD from the .ISO file
3. Setup a test PC or your NAS with an IDE flash drive (or hard drive) on the primary-master IDE, and a CD Rom drive on the second IDE channel. (Compact Flash users will need a CF to IDE converter to install the OS to CF)
**To prevent accidental data loss - Disconnect any other drives on the system!**
4. Boot from the CD and carefully follow the on-screen instructions. If you are not using an LCD, you will want to assign the initial IP address during the install. Non LCD users may choose any of the images available on the menu. When you are finished with the menu choices the installer will write the NAS OS to your drive.
5. Use this drive to boot your NAS device.
6. Once the NAS is running on your network, go to a workstation and enter the IP address of the NAS in the address bar of your web browser. You should be running the latest Java VM from http://java.sun.com/
7. You will be prompted to login to the graphical interface. The username is 'admin' and the password is 'password'
